Model A Mike's Mountain Ranch Car Show

The guys all drove up earlier in their fine automobiles, stopping for a break in Farmington.

I had to work until 6:00, and then got a late start and missed the turn in Escalon, so I got up there late. It was a fun drive!!

We all got drunk, and Steve, Steve, and I all hung out late being crazy. This is "Tooble Tennis". It looked like a hurricane went through there the next morning!

Saturday morning!

Darrin's slammed and heavily chopped 1932 Ford Coupe. Model A Mike was inside, he cooked us all one helluva breakfast!!

This is right before Mountain Ranch Joe pulled up in his show truck.

Great picture of my old Dodge. That's Steve's Road Runner right behind it.

Right as you enter the show. I have to admit, the first thing I thought was how cool it would be to hang some donuts out there on the lawn!

Aside from the little Hot Rods that were primered with the intention of being primer, I think I had the only primered POS there. Got lots of attention, though.

A really good line up of our cars. I hope more people come out next year, it really was too fun.

Ed's 1969 Chevy Camaro ragtop.

Model A Mike's coupe and Dave's 1966 Corvette Roadster.

Model A Mike running his Chevy engine while interested people watch. Sounds awesome, I think I want to build some lakes pipes for my Model A!

Joe (with the show truck) passed out under Steve's Road Runner. Too much party for Joe!

Darrin's Ford Coupe again. Bitchin' little car!!

Mike and Melinda Evette's 1972 Chevy Corvette. It is a clean car, and had a helluva story to go with it.

Mom, Dad, and Model A Mike.

I love '40 Ford Coupes. This is actually '39 Ford Deluxe Coupe, but I still love the body style. One of these is on my list of cars I'd like to own one day.

Random old motorcycle.

Another clean pair of oldies.

Even military vehicles were showing!

A Jeep and an British armored personnel carrier.

Ah yes, the rat rod set.

A real Pistol grip shifter. As if the dressed up female skeletone wasn't enough!

Clean little Plymouth Coupe, I don't these years too well, 1940 to 1948?

I liked this one because it kinda sorta reminds me of Norm Grabowski's Model T. I'm not a big fan of disc brakes or coil overs on hot rods, but this one was pretty damn nice!

Some power parkers juggling their cars. I figured Hemi Jeff would dig this '67 Charger with two tone paint!

Steve won an award, and we had been drinking so much beer and been in that nice warm sun that we're still not sure what it was for!

We've left the show, and got a great picture of Ed's and Dave's cars.

Steve's awesome 1969 Plymouth Road Runner.

Darrin's 1932 Ford Coupe.

Model A Mike's 1930 Ford Coupe

We partied some more, but I crashed early that night.

Sunday!

We're up early with some fresh coffee, packing up and ready to go. It was hard to believe that it was over already, I had a ton of fun!

At the back of the pack, taking pictures through the windshield as we go!

Stopped for lunch where the guys stopped on the way up, at Lagorio's in Farmington.

I always like to say, it's always a good time for a group photo. It's the people that make cars a fun hobby to have. Left to right; Mike, me (Scott!), Dave, Ed, Darrin, Steve, and Mike.

I had a blast, can't wait to do it again next year!
