I had beaten on and wounded the little 283 that I had put in the car so bad that she was poppin' and snorting and was generally an unhappy little engine so I began looking for another Chevy to drop in. A good sounding 283 came up on craigslist so I brought it home and tossed some gaskets and paint on it and get her ready to go.
