High-Performance Parts Hauler: '72 GMC Sprint SP

Unfortunately some people decided to help themselves to the dash from it while I was in Vegas, literally removing the whole thing out of it, wiring harness and all. Scum!

Later I had multiple people pointing fingers at each other behind each others backs so I know who was involved. No loyalty among rats...

Guess you learn what shitheads your 'friends' can be.

Ask me sometime and I'll be delighted to tell y'all who said what about whom.

Original Chevy 350 4 barrel, Turbo 350, 12-bolt w/3.73 gears

Basically an El Camino SS but very rare; this car/truck is 1 of 258 or 1 of 97, depending on how you look at it; factory hood pins, cowl induction, 12-bolt rear-end w/3.73s, 350 4 barrel, TH-350. The previous owner painted it a dull gunmetal color, ripped off the A/C compressor, slapped on a Edelbrock Performer intake and a leaky Holley 650. I replaced the old Holley with a new Holley 750. Pretty decent performing car, always starts.

INVADER 350
Thats GMC speak for a Chevy 350

Excellent running 350, looks good with the aluminum intake and Hemi Orange.

I replaced the transmission with a recently rebuilt TH-350, out of Shannon's 1972 Chevelle "Big Blue" we parted out after her wreck. Also put new rotors and pads on, and new motor mounts. Also fixed some wires leading to the HEI. Nice to have her running and handling excellent again. I put on a beefy front sway-bar. Crushed one of my fingers trying to get a coil spring off when I was rebuilding the front end. Oh well.

UPDATE!!

I sold it to some dude who restored it back to mostly original! Check out these pictures!

Nice to see a happy ending for a cool car like this!
